    November 26, 2014. 8am to Noon at the St. Eugene Mission
    Presented by David Savage, Savage Management Ltd. and Laura Hummelle, Ahead of the Curve Consulting

    A Half Day Workshop designed to bring together and engage Kootenay Leaders who strive for greater achievements for their business, organization and region. Kimberley Chamber of Commerce members are offered a significant discount ($145.00 versus $250.00) if they register before November 7, 2014. 

    Key participants would be:
    • Aiming to move beyond a command and control or competitive approach to leadership;

    British Columbia Community Achievement Awards

    Presented by the British Columbia Achievement Foundation, The British Columbia Community Achievement Awards celebrate British Columbians who go above and beyond in their dedication and service to others and who devote time and energy to making their communities more caring, dynamic, beautiful, healthy, and unique. 

    The Kimberley & District Chamber of Commerce invites you to nominate someone deserving from the Kimberley community whose spirit, imagination, dedication and commitment has truly made a difference to this community, either as a volunteer or throughout the course of their work.  If you know someone who meets these criteria, this prestigious award is a great way to provincially acknowledge them for their efforts. 

    The Kimberley & District Chamber of Commerce would like to thank City Council for recognizing the Chamber to take on this project.   The Chamber has volunteered to submit all nomination packages on behalf of the community, to ensure that the nomination packages are completed correctly, as well as consolidate and track nominees and send any additional support letters. 

    You can pick up a nomination form from the Chamber office, or download a copy here.   The Chamber requests nomination packages be provided by Wednesday, November 12.

    The Kimberley & District Chamber of Commerce will be hosting a forum for Council candidates on November 3rd and a forum for the Mayor candidates on November 4th.

    Each forum will take place at McKim Middle School. Doors will open at 6:00 p.m. with each forum taking place from 7 - 9 p.m. More details will follow in upcoming weeks.

    It's that time of year and the nominations for the annual Chamber of Commerce 2019 Business Excellence Awards are now open! 

    We have some exciting new categories this year and the nominations will all be put to a community vote later on in the summer. 

    The Business Excellence Awards are an opportunity to recognize the outstanding small businesses, entrepreneurs, employees and organizations who contribute so much to our community and local economy. 

    This year's Business Excellence Awards are set for Friday, October 4th, 2019 at the Kimberley Conference & Athlete Training Centre. Tickets will go on sale in late Summer.
