Embracing Truth: Honouring the National Day for Reconciliation

VIRTUAL EVENT - SEPT 27, 2023

National Day for Truth and Reconciliation is a day for Canadians to commemorate the history and legacy of the residential school system. It’s a day to honour the resilience, dignity and strength of survivors and remember the children who never came home. It's a chance to engage and educate people about BC's colonial history and how it has and continues to impact Indigenous communities.

In this spirit, we are excited to invite you to the virtual event, "Embracing Truth: Honouring the National Day for Reconciliation," with keynote speaker Chris Sankey, Indigenous Affairs & Economic Reconciliation Advocate. Hosted by the BC Chamber of Commerce, this event is a step towards fostering understanding, collaboration, and reconciliation between Indigenous and non-Indigenous communities in British Columbia.
