Come connect with the candidates before the formal forums begin, then hear directly from those seeking to represent Kimberley on the issues that matter to our residents, businesses and community.
Your community. Your candidates. Your opportunity to be informed before you vote.
Who's invited?
We’ll be inviting all candidates for Kimberley’s next Mayor and Council to share their perspectives on supporting local business, strengthening our community, and the important role Kimberley’s business community plays in our city’s future.
Candidates for School Trustee will also be invited to attend and participate in the Meet & Greet portion of the evening, giving community members an opportunity to connect with them and learn more about their priorities.
You’ll hear directly from Mayoral and Council candidates in attendance as they discuss their priorities, answer questions, and share their vision for Kimberley’s future.
We encourage Chamber members, business owners, residents, and anyone who cares about the future of Kimberley to attend, connect with the candidates, and take part in the conversation.
How do I submit a question?
To help us make the most of our time with the candidates, all questions for the Mayoral and Council forums must be submitted in advance. There will be no live questions taken from the audience during the forum.
Questions will be reviewed and selected by Kimberley & District Chamber of Commerce staff. With a limited amount of time and a number of candidates participating, we’ll work to ensure the questions selected cover a broad range of topics and issues that are important to our membership, local businesses, and the Kimberley community.
We encourage you to submit the questions so that you may have them answered at the forum.
What if I have follow-up questions or comments for a candidate?
We encourage you to connect directly with candidates following the forum if you have additional questions, would like clarification, or want to continue the conversation about issues that matter to your business and our community.
