The Kimberley & District Chamber of Commerce Better Business & Community Awards are happening this November, bringing our community together to recognize the people and businesses making a difference.
This year’s awards will feature a wide variety of categories, celebrating everything from local entrepreneurs and creatives to established businesses and outstanding community contributors. Categories include Business of the Year, Coffee Shop of the Year, Photographer of the Year, the Stan Salikin Award, and many more.

The Kimberley & District Chamber of Commerce's Shop Local Campaign returns October 1 through November 15, and we're excited to celebrate the incredible businesses that make our community thrive!

Here's how the campaign works:
🧾 Shop at businesses throughout Kimberley & District between October 1 and November 15.
📍 Drop your receipts off at the Visitor Information Centre or submit them online for your chance to win.

Last year, our community submitted more than 600 receipts, representing over $38,000 spent locally. Every dollar spent close to home helps strengthen our local economy and supports the businesses that make Kimberley & District such a special place.


Chamber Members: This is your time to shine!
As a Chamber member, you'll be among the first businesses featured throughout the Shop Local campaign.

Start preparing now by gathering:
📸 High-quality photos of your business, team, products, or services
✍️ A short business bio
✨ Recent accomplishments, exciting news, upcoming events, new products or services, anniversaries, awards, or anything you'd like the community to know.
Let's show residents and visitors why shopping local matters and celebrate everything our local businesses have to offer!

Fresh food from local farmers and food producers, crafts from local artisans, live music, and delicious food are all served up in downtown Kimberley every Thursday from 5-7 pm during the summer!

This season, the market is expanding and coming alive in new ways. We’re extending into the Platzl, activating the gazebo all summer long, and exploring programming at the Centre 64 outdoor stage… bringing even more music, performances, and interactive experiences into the heart of downtown!

From weekly live music and hands-on activities to spontaneous moments of creativity and connection, every market is designed to be experienced, not just visited. This is a place to gather, linger, and enjoy the best of what our community has to offer.

The Kimberley Farmers’ Market, hosted by Wildsight Kimberley/Cranbrook, is part of our ongoing work to build a healthy, resilient, and connected community. Since 2014, it has grown into a place where people don’t just shop, they meet the people behind their food and goods, discover local talent, and feel part of something bigger.

Join us for our Annual General Meeting

The Kimberley & District Chamber of Commerce invites our members to attend the 2026 Annual General Meeting on Sunday, September 20th.

The AGM is an important opportunity for our membership to come together, reflect on the Chamber’s work, hear what’s happening within the organization, and look ahead to the priorities and opportunities before us.

It’s also a chance to connect with fellow members and be part of the conversations helping shape the future of our Chamber and local business community.
