As you know, October 16-20 is Small Business Week. If you have ever wondered how you can help support a small business, we've got you covered! Here is a list of 10 easy things you can do during Small Business Week and all year round:
Shop, eat and stay local - let's Keep it Kimbo!
Give a shout out to a business on social media and don't forget to tag the business
Post a positive review of a local business
Like, comment and share a local small business social media post
Follow a local business on social media
Sign up for emails or newsletter from a local business
Attend a local business event - check out local events calendars to find out what's happening
Write a thank you letter to one of our amazing local business owners and deliver it in person
Get involved and support your local Chamber of Commerce
Challenge someone you know to support small business
And here’s the Chamber’s challenge to you:
During Small Business Week, give a Facebook shout out to a local business and tell us what you love about them. Don’t forget to tag the business and @KimberleyChamber. Any business celebrated with a Facebook shout out that includes @KimberleyChamber during the week of October 16-20 will be entered into a draw to win a grand prize provided by the Chamber - $500 to spend at Big Magic Design to use towards design services, marketing materials, signage, and more! Plus the person giving the shout out to the winning business will receive a $25 gift card to a local business!
Don’t use Facebook? No problem. Send an email to the Chamber at info@kimberleychamber.com instead and these entries will be included in the draw!
The draw will be made on October 24 and the winner announced on social media.
