We’re excited to share that the Kimberley & District Chamber of Commerce has officially reached a Fee-for-Service agreement with the City of Kimberley, running from June 1, 2025 to May 31, 2027.
As part of our agreement, the Chamber will continue to deliver a focused suite of services that directly support our business and non-profit community. These core services include:
Business and Non-Profit Support: We’ll continue to serve as a go-to resource for local organizations, offering guidance, connections, and advocacy. We are also strengthening support for non-profits through board governance training, grant writing workshops, and volunteer engagement.
Economic Development Initiatives: The Chamber will play an active role in supporting Kimberley’s economic development goals by conducting an annual business survey, by hosting economic development round-tables and summits, providing support to prospective entrepreneurs, and through close coordination with other Resort Municipality Chambers.
Immigration and Workforce Assistance: Recognizing the importance of workforce attraction and retention, the Chamber will continue to run the BC PNP Entrepreneurial stream on behalf of the City of Kimberley, while also connecting organizations with workforce resources and regional employment services.
Event Coordination and Community Engagement: We’ll lead or support community events that bring people together, promote local businesses, and strengthen the fabric of our economy, from mixers and networking events to major community celebrations.
This agreement represents a meaningful investment in the Chamber’s ability to serve the business and non-profit community, and we’re looking forward to what we can accomplish together over the next two years.
